A moment to remember

Everyone knows I love seeing my art hanging in its forever home, but this photo stopped me in my tracks, and I wanted to share it.

A father and son sitting side by side, unwrapping the perfect gift, smiling, completely caught up in the moment. Dad explaining the highlights from the team’s history in the artwork, sharing stories from his childhood, and passing those memories down to his son. You can just feel the love between them — remembering the past while making new memories together.

I had just finished this Mets piece highlighting some of the team’s greatest moments — a piece any die-hard fan would love. A few days later, one of my collectors reached out looking for a special gift for her husband, who’s a huge Mets fan. Talk about perfect timing.

For me, art is about connection — capturing those little moments that end up meaning everything. This is one of those moments that will last a lifetime. A moment to remember.
